There is a distinct invisible need for pre and post investment stages of the business with regards to the financial roadmap – accounting platforms need to be set up along with subsequent financial due diligence that enhances the integrity of any Business Plan. Funding experience will be key along with dealing with stakeholders including external audits, banks etc.

The company’s need for financial support will increase as the company grows – from a few days consultancy to part time FD/CFO, through to interim/part time FD/CFO and finally full time FD/CFO as the business has grown to success. Cash constraints is recognised at the early stage of the business and will be considered along with the successful growth of the company.

I am available to consult as either a one-off injection to springboard the business or provide interim part time CFO services. I understand that small businesses do not always have an abundance of cash and this will be considered when providing valuable financial support on an ad hoc basis.   • Presentation of Board Accounts and Key Performance Indicators.

  • Active steering of cash-flow.

  • Addressing constant review of funding requirements (including available grants, RSA, R&D,etc) (Thermal Transfer / Anesco).

• Assisting in the setting up of financial systems to mirror the business activities providing clear, regular and reliable financial reporting to management, Board and external parties (Cyberhawk Innovations).

• Review/develop financial forecasts that will be on a real-time rolling basis to provide clarity to the future plans (SSE Pipelines/Indigo Pipelines).

• Review quality and accessibility of documentation for reference in years ahead and full due diligence activities (SSE Pipelines/Indigo Pipelines).

• Assistance and instrumental to company exits by also liaising with experienced contacts in route to investors (Logan Energy).

Add value to working with various potential investors including angel syndicates and targeting beneficiaries (Logan Energy).
